It’s officially 6 more day’s until Halloween! This recipe always seems to be one of the first things that disappear during our annual Halloween party every year. Maybe a lot of people just like finger shaped food or maybe it’s just the fact that these cookies are super delicious!
Witches’ Fingers are a perennial favorite every Halloween. Dyeing them green makes them even more fun! It’s great to watch kids pick them up and try to decide whether or not to bite into them. Let’s face it, most green food is not at the top of kids’ favorites lists. You know the ones – broccoli, brussel sprouts, lima beans, collard (mustard, turnip) greens, kale. You get the idea.
With the addition of almond flour, it adds to the nutty flavor. And painting the almond “fingernails” bright red makes it even more eye catching (as if green fingers wouldn’t do that on their own). These are as much fun to make as they are to eat!Print
