Witches’ Fingers (Almond Cookies)

You definitely don’t have to fear these spooky cookies because they are a delicious almond cookie that are always *handy* to have around this holiday season!



2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup almond flour

3/4 tsp. soda

1 tsp. salt

2 sticks (1 cup) butter, at room temperature

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 egg, at room temperature

1/4 cup milk

1 tsp. almond extract

1/2 tsp. vanilla


  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Spray pans with cooking spray.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together all purpose flour, almond flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  4. In mixer bowl, cream butter and sugars.
  5. Beat in egg.
  6. Add flour mixture.
  7. Stir in milk and extracts.
  8. Cut into desired shapes and place on prepared pans, or press into molds.
  9. Bake for about 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
