Canon EOS Rebel T6i
I prefer this camera to any other camera I’ve had in the past. It’s simple to use and pretty self explanatory. I am no where near a camera expert, but this camera could easily be used by pros and beginners alike.
Canon EF-S 10-55mm Lens
This is the lens I use the most. It’s a good for wide angle shots and close ups.
Canon EF-S 55-250mm F4-5.6 IS STM Lens
This lens I don’t use as often but it is very handy for those close up shots.
Amazon Basics Tripod
This tripod might not be the best or most expensive tripod in the world, but it’s done its job to perfection. I’ve dropped it, tossed it, kicked it, and just in general abused it, and still this poor tripod has held out. Plus, having a level on two sides of the tripod makes my life easier!
SanDisk Ultra Class 32 GB
We’ve bought probably around ten or twelve of these things, but I only ever seem to use two – one for photography, and one for my Youtube channel. I use the 32GB because I remember reading somewhere in the fine print of my camera that it doesn’t work well with a 64GB. Now, I know you’re saying “but I want the most memory I can get!” and well, yes, I do too; but 32GB holds a mother-load of pictures and quite a few 30 minute long videos.
Canon Battery Pack LP-E17
Ah, old faithful. What would I be without you? A dead camera, actually. These batteries last. Though, I do recommend buying two because, if you’re like me, you forget to check the battery life before it’s too late.
Canon Battery Charger LC-E17
I love this charger. It charges at a decent rate. It’s not super fast, but it is reliable. I recommend buying two so you can charge both batteries at the same time.
We recently just purchased all of this equipment. So far, It’s been good. It works like it should, and handles falling over well. Though, I don’t recommend doing that too often!

Westcott 750 Photo Basics Tripod
Lightbulb for Soft Box:
Sylvania 11560 – ECT
*Note: I recommend if you do buy this camera and lighting, always keep your camera on Tungsten Light with no flash when you’re using these two together. And always make sure you keep a spare light bulb, just in case!

After reading a lot of reviews and investigating features and packages, we settled on SiteGround for our web host. We’ve been very happy with it so far. It’s easy to set up, works seamlessly with WordPress, and the SiteGround Admin Panel makes editing your website a breeze.
We spent days searching through dozens of themes trying to find the one that would allow us to build the site we wanted to with the features we were looking for. Mai Pro from StudioPress did exactly that.
